La Aulacoseira granulata, rica en silicio (42%), pertenece a las diatomeas de agua dulce, el alto contenido de s\u00edlice favorece su uso en las plantas, ya que este elemento beneficia los cultivos d\u00e1ndoles resistencia ante distintos factores ambientales y los protege de ellos. Adem\u00e1s de silicio, contiene micronutrientes que facilitan la capacidad de intercambio cati\u00f3nico y la absorci\u00f3n de nutrientes por la planta.<\/p>\n<p>La tierra diatomea, en mezcla con fertilizantes qu\u00edmicos u org\u00e1nicos, suple los micronutrientes que la planta requiere para su desarrollo.
